Test Series Outright Winner
South Africa are 5/6 with Betfair.
Australia are 7/2 with Paddy Power.
Draw is 3/1 with Ladbrokes.
The second part of the South Africa V Australia double header gets under way in Johannesburg this Thursday. At stake is not only the Test Series but the right to be called the number one ranked side in the world - a series victory for the South Africans will see them end Australia's reign at the top of ICC's World Rankings.
The Aussies head into the series with what seems to be no end of problems to contend with, still struggling to even attempt to fill the voids left by the retirements of the likes of Warne, McGrath, Hayden and Gilchrist the last thing they need is an injury list consisting of Brett Lee and Stuart Clark. To add insult to injury Andrew Symonds ongoing personal problems have left him unavailable for selection.
The South Africans have no such hassles as they prepare, the only problem for the selectors was who had the misfortune of having to tell Ashwell Prince who averaged 75 in the series against England last summer that there was no place in the squad for him for the first two Test Matches at least.
