Andy Murray continues in his quest to overtake Novak Djokovic to claim the number 3 World Ranking when he takes on the man himself in tonight's Sony Ericsson Open in Miami. At the start of the tournament Murray was in with a chance of overtaking Djokovic this week if results went in his favour but when the Serb beat Roger Federer in his semi-final that prospect disappeared.
The two players appeared on the scene at the same time but it was Djokovic who made the initial progress scoring four successive wins over Murray and also landing a Grand Slam event in the Australian Open. In more recent times though Murray has caught him up and has won their last two meeting one of which was Murray's first Masters tournament victory in the final in Cincinnati.
