After an amazing last session India are in a position of strength in the final test match. Although they didn't manage to bat New Zealand out of this test match and the series they have posted a competitive total that will mean the Kiwi's have got some work to do to force a result from here.
The final session was extraordinary, India started it on 190/5 off 55 overs then MS Dhoni, Harbhajan and Zaheer Khan cut lose. In total 185 runs were scored off just 35 overs.
Earlier in the day Daniel Vettori had surprised everyone when he won the toss and elected to bowl on what looked a good batting track. The decision didn't look the worst at tea as his bowlers had kept the Indian scoring rate down while picking up wickets along the way. After the final session onslaught though the match now looks beyond the Kiwi's unless something else spectacular happens.
