Today's fixtures see Arsenal and Burnley finally attempt to play their fifth round fixture when the sides finally meet at Emirates Stadium today. Burnley have already knocked Arsenal out of the Carling Cup this season but will find things far tougher today with the gunners finally finding their shooting boots midweek against West Brom. Arsenal have the look of a team who are going to hand out a good hiding to someone soon and with the Burnley defence looking very dodgy while conceding four at home to Sheffield Wednesday last week maybe today could be the day.
In the Quarter Final fixture later today Middlesbrough tackle Everton at Goodison Park. Despite seeming to never have a striker on the field Everton's home form has picked up lately with them winning six of their last eight matches including victories over Liverpool and Aston Villa in the FA Cup. Middlesbrough have shown signs of improvement lately with a league win over Liverpool and two good performances in knocking in-form West Ham out in the last round but went back to their old ways getting thrashed at Spurs in midweek.
