Brighton Centre hosts week 7 of Premier League darts, it's hard to believe that we are almost at the half way stage of the league format already. This weeks first game sees table topper Mervyn King take on 'The Bull' Terry Jenkins. King suffered his first defeat last week getting a good thrashing of Barney, it will be interesting to see how he responds against Jenkins. Jenkins has still to win a match this year in the Premier League - probally due to missing to many doubles, a win must surely be around the corner for Jenkins and if he can start to take his chances on the doubles maybe this could be his week.

It's hard to imagine what Wayne Mardle was thinking after last weeks defeat to Phil Taylor, he must have been disappointed with the 8-4 defeat but at the same time happy with the fact he more than gave Taylor a game and but for better finishing could well have won. Wade continued his excellent form with a 8-5 win over Terry Jenkins and is now joint top of the league with King. If Mardle creates the chances he did last week and takes them this could be a close match, if not expect another comfortable Wade win.

Barney looked back to his best last week averaging just under 106 on his way to beating Mervyn King, whereas Klaasen without a win in the Premier League got a creditable draw with John Part. It's hard to see past Barney in this match but he has been up and down in this format this season, Klaasen needs a win this week if he is to have any ambition of getting into the playoffs and i know i keep saying it but he'll hammer someone one week - just don't think it will be this week again.

The 14/1 on offer for John Part at Sportingbet looks a good value bet this week. Phil Taylor has not been at his best over the last 2-3 weeks and could be going through a bit of a lull at the moment, Part also won't be intimidated by Taylor as he's been around way too long for that. It's hard to back against Taylor but he is way too short, i know he will probally win (he usually does), but the value is certainly with Part.
