South Africa V Australia Day 2 betting preview

So much for a pitch full of pace and bounce at Kingsmesd Durban, it certainly didn't play like that when the Australians took the South African bowling apart early on as Morne Morkel again struggled. After only one day of the 2nd Test the series looks to be slipping away from the South Africans. With the Aussies reaching 303/4 at the close the South Africans need quick wickets on the 2nd day or the best they can hope for is a draw meaning no series win and no number one slot in the Test Rankings.

South Africa did manage to get some success at the end of Day 1 as Paul Harris picked up a couple of late wickets to drag them back into contention. Phil Hughes made his maiden century in only his second Test on his way to 115 before he fell to Kallis and Simon Katich continued his good form at the top of the innings with 108 - the opening partnership was worth 184.
