Next Manager To Leave Betting

I don't think too many people outside of the loop seen the disgraceful sacking of Nigel Adkins coming, I certainly didn't.

Martin Jol was the big mover in the market, he was backed in from 20/1 to 3/1 (2nd Favourite behind Paul Lambert) at the start of the week. Adkins was around 6/1 at the time.

I get the feeling the Atkins' decision was taken a few weeks back, and the club's Executive Chairman, Nicola Cortese, was waiting for the right time during the transfer window to sack Adkins. He probably pencilled in just after the Chelsea match as he was probably expecting Southampton to get hammered at Stamford Bridge.

Not only does Cortese look stupid, he was probably the only Southampton fan (and I use the word fan loosely) who didn't enjoy the comeback at Stamford Bridge.

In the interests of balance, no matter how ruthless the decision looks.... he seemed too harshly sack Alan Pardew in the past, and look where the changes he made back then have taken Southampton too now, so maybe he deserves the benefit of the doubt? Only time will tell I suppose.

Anyway, back to the 'Next manager to leave his post betting,' and only two layers have a price up at the moment. Skybet go 2/1 Paul Lambert, 11/2 Martin Jol, 6/1 None.... while Ladbrokes can't separate Lambert and Jol, and have them both at 7/4, with Alan Pardew next at 9/1.

FA Cup Quarter Final Betting

Saturday Fixtures and Best Odds

12.30 Coventry 15/2 Bet365 V Chelsea 8/15 Boylesports Draw 3/1 with Ladbrokes (The chance to bet free with with a £50 Ladbrokes Free Bet is available)

17.15 Fulham 15/4 with Paddy Power V Manchester United 10/11 with Skybet Draw 5/2 with Stan James

Saturday's FA Cup matches see two of the Premier League big guns in action. Both have big Champions League matches coming up next week so makeshift teams could be the order of the day today. Chelsea will be hoping that this seasons excellent away form can help them see Coventry off while Manchester United have a squad that always seems good enough to get a result no matter what team Sir Alex Ferguson puts out.

Both games are live on ITV1.

There are free bets available with all the bookmakers listed on this page to customers opening new accounts.

Ladbrokes Free Bet

To open a Ladbrokes account and claim a £50.00 free bet please click here.....

The Ladbrokes' free bet currently stands at £50.00 and is one of the straight forward free bets that I like. Simply open a Ladbrokes account and place your first bet, and Ladbrokes will then give you a free bet of the same value of your first bet.

There is none of this get a free bet if your first bet loses and roll it over 5 times before withdrawing it, which I am not too keen on (for Matched Betting purposes), this is a basic free bet where Ladbrokes give you a no catch free bet up to the same value of your first bet, whether that first bet wins, loses or draws

With the Ladbrokes Free Bet, if your first bet is for £20.00, you get a £20.00 free bet - if your first bet is for £50.00, you get a free bet of £50.00, and so on (£50.00 is the maximum).

If you wish to use this free bet for Matched Betting, it is an ideal bet for this, and you should be able to quite easily make a guaranteed £30.00 profit from it.

A couple of points to note, you have to enter a 'promo code' when you sign up - in this case it is FB50. Your qualifying (first) bet has to be placed on the day you open/register your account and must be placed at odds of evens (2.00) or greater, and your Ladbrokes free bet has to be placed within 7 days of receiving it, or it will expire.

When placing free bets from Online Bookmakers always make sure you are fully aware of what you are doing and that you have read and understand the terms and conditions. It is the aim of this site to bet free, or as close to free as possible, using free bets is one easy method of achieving this.
